Running Events

The London Marathon

The biggest event of the year for runners, a gruelling 26 miles across the streets of London.  Unfortunately we have been unable to secure places for Bibby Employees but we can help you to try and gain your own place.

The best way is to apply for an individual place through the ballot, full details on how to do this can be found on www.london-marathon.co.uk

If you are unable to gain a place through the ballot then many charities offer places in the run in return for a minimum amount of sponsorship, this usually begins at about £1200.  You can find details on which charities have places available on the London Marathon website.

Smaller Running Events

There are many smaller running events that keen runners can take part in, for example The Great North Run, Great South Run, Great Manchester Run and Race For Life.
