Banking Process – Questions and Answers

Q. I don’t have a community champion at my site, if I want to fundraise how do I bank my monies?

A./strong> Each site should have it’s own community champion to help to promote the programme and to hold the toolkit with all details of the programme. If you are unsure who your community champion is please contact either your line manager or the Community Team.

Q. I have forgotten to complete my match fund request form but have already banked my monies, can I still apply for match funding?

A. We can only match fund if the money has been banked through Barclays bank, which yours should have been. You now need to complete a match fund request form and return it to the Community Team, in Liverpool as soon as possible. To do this you’ll need to find out the number of the paying in slip that you used; your community champion or the bank may be able to help you to do this.

Q. I have already handed over my money to the charity, how do I apply for match funding?

A. We can only match fund money that is banked through Barclays Bank and subsequently appears on the reports issued by Charities Trust.

Q. I want the money I raise to go to more than one charity, is this possible?

A. Yes, no problem, just indicate on your match fund request form the amounts and the charities that you’d like paying. Charities Trust will do the rest for you.
